Bone Broth

I really am thankful for friends who have shared life changing habits and supplements with me.  It’s truly made a difference in my life.

After being diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian cancer at 54 years old, I endured frontline debulking surgery and 6 rounds of chemo treatments. Since that time, I’ve worked diligently on a collective effort of affordable complementary therapies with no other maintenance drugs prescribed by my doctor. I had many issues going on, Supplements such as turmeric and turkey tail immediately helped my digestive issues. One other big issue I had was NO HAIR, and the anxiety that surrounds that.

I knew my hair would grow back, but one day a nurse said something while taking my blood. She said my shoulder length brown hair would grow back white. I was not ready to hear that.

One Sunday after my treatment, I went to a social gathering at a friend’s house, and I got to know a lovely soul by the name of Jeanette Hurley. I was telling her about the supplements I was taking to gain back my mobility from being so stiff after treatments. She suggested I include drinking bone broth too. I ordered some bone broth powder and found that it helped with tummy bloat, thin cracking nails and of course, my hair started growing out like crazy.

I will turn 60 years old this year and my hair is long and shiny.  I did have pigment in my hair, so my hairdresser was able to cover up my greys at the root like she had been doing since I was 48.  Again, I’m really thankful for friends who have shared life changing habits and supplements they take to feel better and stay healthy.  The product I use can be purchased on Amazon on this link.
