Curcumin found in Turmeric
I’ve had people ask me if I take a daily multivitamin I’ve had to answer that I did in the past, but I no longer take them. With that being said, I always mention that I do take several superfood supplements to improve my overall health. When I was in Costa Rica after taking 6 rounds of chemo, I learned about several superfoods that could be taken in the form of a supplement that has powerful anti-inflammatory & immunomodulator benefits. One of them is Curcumin, the active ingredient in Turmeric root (yellow spice in mustard). I started taking this to combat some side effects from chemo and help my joints feel better. I really believe it helped a great deal and I still take this today. Turmeric, especially when blended with ginger (warms the body and helps with circulation) has a host of benefits. In the book Ultimate Immunity, Dr. Haas MD said Turmeric can protect the liver from toxins. He also added that preliminary research suggests it may delay the onset of Alzheimer’s disease, lessen pain and inflammation of rheumatoid arthritis, and even prevent some cancers. You should try it if you haven’t already started taking this superfood. I’m attaching a link to the product I take. This is just one piece of the puzzle I’ve discovered that has helped me prevent my ovarian cancer from coming back.
